LCL Services
We can offer seafreight LCL (Less Than Container Load) services to all major global destinations using both regular shipping services as well as specialist groupage services.
Seafreight is a cheap option for non urgent international cargo shipping. When the cargo volume is less than the volume of a shipping container it is more cost efficient to use an LCL service. World Cargo Solutions can offer a range of LCL services as well as groupage.
Groupage services are dedicated routes operated by agents between two locations. The benefit is that the container does not need unpacking and repacking at intermediate ports, and the service is cheaper.
LCL cargo is shipped to a receiving depot local to the customer or shipped directly to the dock where it is loaded into the container by the agent.
LCL transport is ideal for non time sensitive cargo and can be used for pallets and boxes. Items that are unpacked for seafreight can be packed by World Cargo Solutions for an additional fee.
Freight is calculated by a volume or weight, whichever is cheaper with a general minimum volume of 1m3.
NCL (Non-Containerised Load) shipping can be offered as part of our Out Of Gauge service.
